Our Prohelix 25mL tubes close the gap between the 15- and 50mL tubes and are ideal for any application that requires more than 15mL and less than 50mL, including general sample preparation centrifugation. and mixing and storage. These tubes can help reduce freight costs, storage space, and plastic waste and are 33% shorter than a typical 50mL tube allowing for the faster resuspension of pellets and 100% recovery of small samples. These tubes eliminate concerns about cross contamination by the low profile and wide diameter format. Additionally, the tubes have a 360° support rim just below the cap. Similar to 1.5mL tubes, this rim allows the tube to fit into most racks and fits most 50mL rotors. The rim eliminates the need for an adapter.
