PetriSeal™ stretches and conforms to form a tight seal and is temperature resistant, waterproof and chemically resistant. It resists abrasion and puncture and blocks vapor loss while reducing the rate of gas exchange.

Use PetriSeal™ with microtiter plates, Petri dishes and culture plates to prevent to entry of contaminants. The seal remains flexible down to -30°C and can withstand continuous exposure from -40°C to +77°C (with intermittent exposure up to 100°C).

Tests have shown that PetriSeal™ leaves no adhesive residue even after two years.

Color Coded Tough-Tags

Color Coded Tough-Tags will not come off in rotors, cyclers or racks. They are resistant to extreme temperatures and the matte surface is suitable for pencil, pen or marker.

These Tough-TagsŪ are designed to fit 1.5mL tubes and stay on in centrifuge rotors, thermal cyclers, and racks “ even at extreme temperatures. The matte surface may be marked with pen, pencil or marker.

Color-coded Dual Tough-TagsŪ are available in five colors. A set consists of one 7/16" spot (11.1mm) and one 1-1/4" x 9/16" rectangular label (31.8 x 14.3mm). Supplied 500 sets per roll

Diversified Biotech Tough-Tags

Tough-TagsŪ are chemically inert polyester labels that strongly adhere to all plastics and other materials. They are temperature resistant from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). These labels will withstand autoclaving, boiling water baths, freezer temperatures, organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling, cracking or falling off. For best adhesion it is recommended that siliconized surfaces be avoided.

Tough-TagsŪ are precut, peel-off labels which accept any marking instrument and are perfectly sized to fit microcentrifuge tubes and other containers in the laboratory. Tubes with Tough-TagsŪ wrapped around them will still slide easily in and out of rotors without binding because the labels are thin and the adhesive does not migrate from behind the label even after boiling and autoclaving.

Cryo-Clear Laser Labels

Our patented Cryo-Clear Laser Labels withstand conventional and cryogenic storage conditions (vapor and liquid phase nitrogen storage at -196 °C). The labels are chemically inert with a solvent resistant acrylic adhesive that will adhere to all plastics, glass and metal. Cryo-Clear Laser Labels will withstand dry heat up to 70 °C without cracking, peeling or degrading.

Cryo-Clear Laser Labels resist most detergents and oils, as well as many organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling. They will resist water soaking for at least 24 hours at room temperature and water vapor (100% relative humidity) at 35°C for at least 24 hours.

Tough Spots Labels

Tough-SpotsŪ are chemically inert and flexible white and colored polyolefin labels that adhere to most plastics (best performance with virgin polypropylene) as well as glass and metals. These labels withstand temperatures from -320°F to +212°F (-196°C to +100°C) (vapor and liquid-phase nitrogen storage, up to moderate oven temperatures) and can endure sustained humidity and soaking, submersion in boiling water baths, autoclaving, organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling, degrading or becoming brittle.

Tough-SpotsŪ will accept any marking instrument. Just write or print from a laser printer (instructions included for printing from Microsoft Word), peel back the label and affix to the top or side of a microtube or cryovial. Rainbow packs are available for laser sheets, and consist of four sheets of each of the following colors: blue, green, orange, red, and yellow (20 total sheets). Laser sheets are polyolefin, roll label stock is polyvinyl.
