The gloves are treated with Ultra-Fresh to achieve 99.9% antimicrobial status and with Size-Lock™ to prevent shrinkage. They are fully launderable so that gloves retain their shape, size, and antimicrobial properties over time. Rated ANSI cut-level 7 for excellent cut resistance and are FDA and CFIA compliant.
This glove is made of exceptionally cut-resistant composite yarn that is a blend of composite filament fiber, Dyneema® and nylon. TenActiv™ gloves feature lint-free, continuous filament yarn that is stronger than steel on an equal-weight basis. The high-strength fiber is incorporated in a way that it cannot come through to the hand for total comfort and extended glove life. These gloves are made of terry knit that contains composite filament fiber for incredible abrasion and cut protection. Cut Resistant Glove Standards
There are 2 principal standards in assessing the protection offered by work gloves: ANSI/ISEA 105 in the U.S., and EN 388, the EU standard also widely referred to in regions like Canada, Australia/New Zealand, and South America.
These standards underwent significant updates in 2015-2016 to ensure consistence between both standards and to keep pace with the evolution of cut-resistant materials, including high-performance polyethylene (HPPE), PVA yarns, heat-resistant aramid fibers, and ultra-strong tungsten.
