The DryChill cooling blocks are designed to store samples safely on the lab-bench without sample degradation due to temperature increase or fluctuation. Unlike traditional ice buckets, these blocks do not require any ice and are uniquely designed to minimize condensation, resulting in a convenient, mess-free cooling.
Each DryChill Cooling Block utilizes a proprietary gel refrigerant, designed to maintain cold (but not freezing) temperatures for extended time periods. Once the block temperature begins to warm, the visual indicator alerts the user by changing from purple to pink.
Short-wave UV light is an effective method for the disinfection of surface DNA, RNA and microorganisms. With the UVClave chamber, highly focused UV irradiation is used to disinfect tools, vessels and other research items, eliminating up to 99% of surface contamination.
Unlike most UV chambers, the UV Clave includes powerful UV-C bulbs on both the top and bottom of the chamber. When combined with our proprietary shelf that allows for >90% of UV-C light transmission and highly reflective chamber walls, the result is true 360° exposure with no blind spots.
Exposure time is adjustable. An optional heating cycle can be added to assist in drying items that may have been washed or chemically disinfected prior to insertion.
To protect users, the integrated auto shut-off prevents illumination when the door is open. Optional indicators are available to test for proper exposure levels.

The BeadBath Duo series are the first laboratory baths designed for precision temperature control when used with water, or with Lab Armor® thermal beads. Unlike any other laboratory bath, they feature a “MODE” button that can be used to toggle between “Bead” or “Water” mode. The BeadBlaster™ 24R is a highly efficient bead homogenizer with built in refrigeration to protect temperature sensitive molecules from heat degradation and denaturation.
Unlike most bead homogenizers, the BeadBlaster 24R has true, compressor-based refrigeration – no dry ice, no liquid nitrogen and no air supply needed. Simply set the desired temperature and precool the chamber. Temperature will be maintained throughout the homogenization process to keep samples cool.
The BeadBlaster 24R retains many of the features of our popular BeadBlaster 24. The stainless steel tube carrier subjects up to 24 samples to an optimized, high speed, 3D motion, producing high energy impacts between the samples and micro-beads to release cellular contents. Operating parameters are set and displayed digitally, while 50 profiles can be stored in memory and recalled for future use. A brushless motor reduces motor noise and provides maintenance free operation.
These 2ml tubes are prefilled with an appropriate amount of beads for bead homogenization. Tubes are ready to use – beads are acid washed and heat treated to remove contaminants and render them nuclease and protease free. Unlike traditional mini centrifuges, the new MyFuge™ 12 eliminates the need to change rotors when switching between microtubes and PCR strips. The included, unique COMBI-Rotor™ is all that is required for running 12 microtubes and/or 4 PCR strips. With a fixed speed that produces 2,000 xg, this centrifuge is perfect for quick spin downs. Simply close the lid and the unit quickly ramps up to 5500 rpm. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates for removal of samples.
The BenchWaver™ combines the basic rocking motion of traditional platform rockers with the circular motion of an orbital shaker. This combination is ideal for generating the optimum 3-dimensional “undulating” motion commonly preferred for molecular biology applications.
The tilt angle is instantly adjustable (no tools or disassembly required) from 0 to 10 degrees and the mixing speed can be adjusted from 5 to 105 rpm using the large user-friendly LCD control panel. Combined control of both parameters (tilt and speed) makes the BenchWaver a versatile workhorse that can provide anything form gently, slow moving waves to a rapid, more vigorous motion. Cell cultures depend on optimized growth conditions in order to thrive. With precise temperature and CO₂ control, Benchmark’s SureTherm™ Incubators provide the perfect environment for your cultures. All SureTherm™ Incubators feature a proprietary heat distribution system that combines 6-sided heating with a low-speed internal fan. Air is circulated uniformly throughout the chamber without air exchange from the external environment. This results in a controlled, protected environment with minimal temperature fluctuations (within 0.1°C).
These are the first and only incubators equipped with (patent pending) IncuView™ LCI (Live Cell Imaging) technology for viewing cells in “real time”. An internal microscope and large, external display allow cells to be viewed without removal from the incubator, eliminating the inherent temperature fluctuations and risk of contamination. Cells are easily viewed on the large, integrated display or viewed locally or remotely with a wifi enabled phone, tablet, or computer.

The MultiTherm shaker is a temperature controlled vortexer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications. Despite its modest 8 x 11 in. footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible, including as many as six 50 ml tubes. Speed, time and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity. Blocks are sold separately.

Benchmark’s new IsoBlock dry bath is ideal for incubation of samples at two different temperatures, in a single compact unit. The two chambers are separated by an insulated wall and are controlled independently, allowing IsoBlock to serve as two dry baths in one. The hinged (and removable) lid is also designed with a dividing wall. When closed, this dividing wall acts as a barrier, preventing air transfer between chambers.
The control panel features large digital displays of both time and temperature. Both settings of a block can be adjusted at any point, without affecting the settings of the other block. The timer function is non-mandatory; IsoBlock can be used for continuous heating.

Despite the space-saving exterior dimensions of the Bioclaves, the stainless steel chambers are surprisingly large, accommodating a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plasticware and other common research laboratory items. Available in 8L, 18L and 28L chamber volumes, these benchtop models include a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that prevents the door from being opened until the pressure has reached zero PSI.
With a large digital LCD display and fully automatic operation, all segments of the cycle (fill, sterilize, exhaust and dry) commence and run to completion by simply pressing the start button. An optional thermal mini-printer is also available for providing a record of sterilization parameters and a USB drive can be used to record settings and transfer them to a PC.
The 8 liter BioClave Mini is preprogrammed to meet basic sterilization needs. Temperature can be selected at either 121°C or 134°C, and the sterilization time is fully adjustable. The economical BioClave Mini is the ideal choice wherever benchtop sterilization is required and space is limited.
BioClave 18L and 28L Models offer preset cycle options (standard programs), for use with liquids, wrapped research instruments or unwrapped instruments/plasticware. An additional option “Dry Only” is also available for additional drying time to be added to the end of a cycle. The Bioclave 28L features an increased chamber size with a diameter of 32cm. The Benchmark Scientific BenchMixer V2 features the smooth and powerful mixing ability of the original BenchMixer with a unique twist. The V2 model has a reversible rubber head that can be attached to the mixer 2 different ways. When vortexing single tubes, use the cupped surface, but when your application requires a flat or dimpled surfaces for mixing a uniquely shaped vessel, flip the head and reattach in the reverse orientation.

Benchmark’s QuadRocker features a unique, tiered attachment system that accepts up to four platforms. Unlike traditional single platform rockers, the QuadRocker includes a base level as well as three additional stacking platforms, providing a total work-surface of over 750 sq. in.
